ASSORTED FLAVORS - J. L. King Solo Exhibition at Luna Rienne Gallery

September 11, 2022 in Exhibits

Please join us for the Opening Reception: Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 6 to 9PM.

I hope you will join me for the opening of my first solo exhibition, Assorted Flavors. On exhibit will be 9 new paintings featuring sweet and savory favorites into reimagined worlds on canvas. Not your average, everyday food art - that, I promise.

“Assorted Flavors is a collection of food-related paintings depicting otherworldly musings and episodes of illusion with the artist's favorite edibles. Golden wrappers reveal worlds of chocolate confections; gummy fish pass the time on a quiet pier; and teacups burst out from pastry boxes. J.L. King's unique surrealist style emerges and immerses in this, her first solo gallery show." - Luna Rienne Gallery
